About: This event is a joint effort of the three projects selected for the Responsible Innovation with Conscience and Agility (RinCA) Program of the Research Institute of Science and Technology for Society (RISTEX), Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), together with CAPE (Center for Applied Philosophy & Ethics, Graduate School of Letters, Kyoto University). The presentations by young researchers and project overviews by leaders aim to encourage intellectual and interpersonal exchanges among participants. They will cover a range of topics, including ethical, legal, and social issues (ELSI) as well as fundamental approaches to dealing with such issues.
